At approximately 12:30 pm Wednesday, police were call to Northwest 13th Avenue and 62nd Street, where a girl – later identify by relatives as Toni Chester had shot dead, according to WSVN Miami.
The Miami Police Department and coroner were reportedly at the scene, where officers gathered around a black Mercedes loaded with bullets. A window and rear window were also broke, the source add. When police arrived, the vehicle was a mile north of where the shooting occurred.
Authorities have not identified Chester as the fatal victim; However, his family confirmed it was him, WSVN reports.

The Miami native hasn’t spoken publicly about the loss since Wednesday night; However, Bobby Lights, Trina’s cousin and actor in Love & Hip Hop: Miami, shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram.
Authorities are still looking into a possible motive, and his relatives want to know why Chester is in the area because he doesn’t live nearby, WSVN reports.
Family members told Local 10 that Chester was with his girlfriend, who was also shot. Relatives also told CBS Miami that Chester was exiting a corner store when gunfire rang out.
“The woman who was announce dead at the scene was visiting. He doesn’t live in this area,” Miami Police Officer Kenya Fallat told WSVN. “We don’t know his purpose, but it must have been a huge scene, and we’re still working on getting more answers.”
