Janet Jackson’s Reaction Nodding to “Snow on the Beach,” Janet Jackson nodded in agreement with Taylor Swift’s “Midnights” and gave Jackson a shout-out.
If Janet Jackson hasn’t been a Swiftie, that’s a good thing she is.
The Grammy winner, 56, enjoyed Taylor Swift’s “Snow on the Beach” from her 10th studio album Midnights. Which was released on Friday and shared a TikTok of her nodding her head at the song, which mentions her name.
Swift, 32, sings in the song, which also stars Lana Del Rey and was written by Swift, Del Rey and Jack Antonoff: “But your eyes were flying saucers from another planet / Now I am for you. Janet / Could this be the real thing? Can I?
Swift previously noted that following the LP’s release on Friday. Midnights became the most streamed one-day album in Spotify history and Apple Music’s most influential pop album of all time. Are you doing anything out of the ordinary here?! Like this just happened??!?!” he wrote on Twitter.
In addition to Del Rey and Antonoff, the album also features longtime friends of Swift’s. Joe Alwyn (aka William Bowery) and actress Zoe Kravitz. With whom Swift posted a photo this weekend to celebrate the album’s “wild journey”.
“[Antonoff] is my lifelong boyfriend (snobs, I know, but I support him), and we’ve been making music together for almost a decade, BUT… this is the first album we’ve made with just the two of us as primary collaborators.” he wrote on Instagram. “We’ve been toying with ideas and writing a few things we love. But Midnights really came together and got out of us when our partners (both actors) were shooting a movie together in Panama,” Swift continued. Jack and I found ourselves alone in New York. Recording every night, staying up late exploring old memories and past midnight.”
Midnights is available to stream now and marks Swift’s first project of new material since the 2020 release of Evermore and its predecessor, Folklore, five months ago.
