- Gogglebox star Andrew Michael has died aged 61, Channel 4 has confirmed.

Gogglebox star Sophie Sandford captioned a Twitter tribute with “Rest in Peace Andy,” which her brother Pete retouched. At the same time, Malone’s family on the show added, “Sorry, rest in peace, Carolines Sympathy. Her kids and family and friends xx.”
Michael of Brighton is the son of an immigrant who came to England from Cyprus in 1951. The family was among the first to take part when the program began eight years ago. They disappeared from the series when Michael ran as Ukip’s candidate for Hastings and Rai in the 2015 general election.
