In a sequence of tweeting on Thursday, the 29-year-old “Girl From Rio” singer revealed her endometriosis diagnosis to fans. While calling doctors who misunderstood her symptoms beforehand.
The singer began her post by saying she is “standing over the most amazing events of my life. One after the other, like a wave of blessings,” but still finds it hard to be happy for them because of the distraction.
“We want to talk about endometriosis,” she wrote.
“Has anyone else here had recurrent cystitis and had tried all sorts of drugs, techniques, lasers, botox, etc. Didn’t die of pain 24 hours after intercourse?” he asked.
The “Evolver” singer continued, “I went to see my father at the hospital,” remembering his father was recently treated for lung cancer. At the hospital, Anitta tell she “told my good friend, the angel doctor in charge there, that I often die of pain. After the conversation, the doctor ran tests and found no bacteria, denying cystitis’s previous diagnosis.
“The doctor an MRI, also there he was. ENDOMETRIOSIS,” he said. “The next day, he sent me to a specialist to do the other tests I needed.” He also called the media.
