At the event, Wynonna confirmed that her mother had died at 2:20 p.m. CT Saturday.

Just hours after Naomi’s death was announced, Country Music Hall of Fame CEO Kyle Young announced on Twitter that the event would be resuming at the request of the Judd family. “We are shocked also saddened by the passing of Naomi Judd. Who will be inducted tomorrow into the Country Music Hall from Fame like a member of @juddsofficial,” Young wrote. “His family has asked us to continue our performance in the Judas Hall of Fame on Sunday.
