Ayesha Curry admitted that it took her “so long” to realise that her fitness journey would not be the same as that of her husband, NBA player Stephen Curry.
The chef and cookbook author, 33, discussed how she could finally focus on her health after having three children — son Canon, 4, and daughters Ryan, 7, and Riley, 10 — on the Rachael Ray Show. However, she admitted that the journey was difficult at first. Admitting that she tried to change her workout routines to keep up with her.
“One of the biggest hindrances was that I was competing in my own weird, twisted way with my very athletic husband and thinking I needed to do everything he was doing to find my balance and stay fit,” the mother of three explained.

She admitted she is more of a “monthly resolution type of girl” regarding traditional New Year’s resolutions. She claimed that doing so makes it simpler for her to keep track of her small victories throughout the year.
“I’ve been on a health journey for the past three years,” Curry said. “I’m into manifesting, writing things down, and setting intentions and goals.
