Renaissance, Beyoncé’s first new solo album since 2016, is out July 29
Beyonce’s new music is finally here!
The 40-year-old Grammy winner released a new single titled “Break My Soul” on Monday night.
The house track, which is just over four minutes long. Takes samples from the 1993 Robin S hits “Show Me Love” and Big Freedia’s “Explode.”

Noise among Beyhive – a loyal Beyoncé fan erupted in anticipation of the single Monday morning. After the “Crazy in Love” singer updated her Instagram bio to “6. BREAK MY SOUL”, which seems to indicate that the song will be the sixth song from Renaissance.
The update quickly caught the trend on Twitter with the phrase “New Beyoncé.
Renaissance will be the star’s first solo album in six years and the long-awaited sequel to 2016’s Lemonade. (Meanwhile, she released the soundtracks for The Lion King and Everything Is Love, albums she co-created with her husband, Jay-Z. She also released Homecoming: The Live Album, recorded during his performance at Coachella in 2018. Shortly after news of the new album spread, British Vogue published photos of Beyonce. Who graced the cover in July, wearing a variety of oversized outfits, along with a short article hinting what was to come with the album.
