Country star and vocalist No Doubt celebrate one year of marriage on July 3. Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani quickly approach their first wedding anniversary, but they are still pleased.
During a recent chat with News about her collaboration with IndyCar driver Jimmy Johnson on Helmet of Heroes, the 45-year-old country star admired her marriage to 52-year-old vocalist No Doubt, calling it “amazing.”
“I need everyone to have the opportunity to meet and talk to Gwen Stefani at some point in their lives because being a better person is the only way I can say it,” Shelton said. “He’s just a magical person. He’s unique, and I… That’s one of them. So how could you dream of this? Do you know? And it happened.” Shelton also said that he and Stephanie, who married on July 3, 2021, recently farmed their Oklahoma ranch.
“Gwen is totally in love with this,” she said. “Time to plant flowers.
And Gwen isn’t content with little patches around the sidewalk. We’re talking fields, acres of flowers.
Stephanie’s three sons, Kingston, 16, Zuma, 13, and Apollo, 8, “don’t farm because they associate it with work,” says Shelton. In the fall, Shelton and Stephanie will be working together again on the set of The Voice, where they first met also fell in love in 2015.
In May, Stephanie revealed in a video on TikTok that she would be returning to the NBC singing competition series as a coach. In the video, she is seen singing with Mika’s Grace Kelly with Shelton and fellow coach John Legend.
“The #Duet if you’ll be coaching #TheVoice this fall,” the caption read. During a special 10th anniversary on The Voice last year, Shelton said meeting Stephanie was one of the “biggest” moments of her work on the show.
