Johnny Depp’s controversial makes a surprise celebrity appearance on Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty Show Vol. 4, stream now on Prime Video.
The Pirates of the Caribbean actor appears at Rihanna’s hit fashion show in loungewear Savage X Fenty while Outkast’s “So Fresh, So Clean” plays in the background. He walks through the forest-like setting gazing at the camera before hugging a tree to end his stay.
The Savage X Fenty look from Depp is monochrome pajamas with a short cape. She wears it with a layered necklace and her hair is tied in a ponytail. TMZ first reported that Depp would be making a cameo appearance on the singer’s highly-anticipated runway show. Noting that he would be attending one of the celebrity segments that have starred Cindy Crawford and other famous faces in the past.
Depp, 59, is “the first person in the history of the Savage X Fenty show to take on this role,” according to TMZ.
A source also told the outlet that Rihanna and her team “invited” Depp to the show and both teams were “excited to do so.”
Years & Years singer Olly Alexander is one of them. He quoted the PopCrave news on Twitter, adding an overly sad face. And when a fan responded to his tweet, writing, “But the ‘Savage X Fenty’ is your baby…you wear it really well,” Alexander replied, “thank you but after this news I won’t be wearing it again.”
The British singer has previously worn the Savage X Fenty, including in a commercial for the brand. Which she shared on Instagram. Showing off the brand’s Valentine’s Day collection in February this year, she wrote: “Your love is a hallucination.” Alexander also showcased another collection last October. Where he wrote “let me be your fantasy” alongside sultry photos.
