Christine and Queens have released surprising new records, including covers of George Michael’s “Freedom” and “Comme l’oiseau. The two-song edition, titled Joseph, follows the two songs yesterday on Global Citizen Live. The two songs – the last of which was released in 1972 by French singer Michel Fugan. Under the title “Fais comme l’oiseau” – also mark Christine and the Queens’ first solo material since the 2020 EP La vita Nuova.
Last year, his collaboration with Caroline Polacek on La vita Nuova’s title song made it into Dazed’s 2020 list of the best songs.
Recently, Chris was on Charli XCX for a podcast series to discover the “best songs of all time.”
