After starting their life as a sub-dance artist in the early 1990s, Doves switched to an alternative rock style and released four albums between 2000 and 2009 before quitting in 2010. During the break, Goodwin released his debut solo album Odludek in 2014, while the Williams brothers played the musical Black Rivers.
