Elon Musk will speak to Twitter employees this week at a company-wide meeting for the first time. Since launching a $44 billion bid in April, a source said Monday, citing an email from Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal of employees.
The Elon Musk source add that the meeting is scheduled for Thursday, and Musk will answer questions directly from Twitter staff.
The news, first news by Business Insider. Comes after Twitter announced last week that shareholders would vote on the sale in early August.
A Twitter spokesperson confirmed that Musk would be attending the company’s annual meeting this week.
Even after Musk’s takeover bid, many Twitter employees expressed concern that the billionaire’s chaotic behavior could destabilize the social media company’s business and cost him financially.
Back in April, Agrawal was see quelling team members anger during a company-wide meeting. Where employees ask for answers about how managers plan to handle the mass evictions Musk was hoping for.
