The “Ads Advisor” and “Analytics Advisor” leverage Google’s Gemini AI models to provide real-time guidance for maximizing advertising performance and understanding website metrics.
Ads Advisor: Smarter Campaign Management
The Ads Advisor functions as an AI partner that learns from your interactions to offer personalized recommendations directly within Google Ads. Users can ask questions like “How can I optimize my campaign for an upcoming seasonal event?” and receive actionable suggestions such as adding sitelink extensions. The system applies approved changes instantly, turning recommendations into improvements within minutes. Trained on extensive Google Ads performance data, the tool understands key performance drivers and can suggest relevant keywords for Search and Performance Max campaigns based on your website context and existing assets.
Analytics Advisor: Simplified Data Insights
Analytics Advisor addresses the challenge of extracting meaningful insights from complex performance data. Users can pose broad questions like “How is my site doing?” or specific queries such as “What have my active users been doing over the last 30 days?” to generate instant, easy-to-understand reports. The tool retrieves key metrics, events, and specific details like Measurement IDs, eliminating manual data digging. This simplifies identifying traffic spikes, drops, and popular pages.
Both tools are rolling out to all English-language accounts globally in early December. While these AI assistants offer valuable guidance, experts recommend validating recommendations and ensuring accurate question framing to avoid correlation-causation errors.
