Google Enhances Ads Advisor with Agentic AI and Automated Safety Tools

Google has rolled out significant updates to its Ads Advisor tool, expanding the AI-powered platform’s capabilities to include automated troubleshooting, security monitoring, and instant certification management for advertisers.

Originally launched in November 2025, Ads Advisor was designed to help marketers proactively manage their Google campaigns by learning from past interactions and delivering context-aware suggestions. The latest enhancements push the tool further into agentic territory, enabling it to act on account issues with minimal human input.

Real-Time Policy Troubleshooting

One of the most notable additions is Real-Time Policy Reviews, which provides instant, in-workflow guidance as marketers create and edit campaigns. Ads Advisor can now proactively scan accounts for policy violations, identify issues, and offer a clear resolution path. In some cases, the system may even resolve concerns automatically without requiring a prompt from the advertiser.

Around-the-Clock Security Monitoring

Google has also introduced advanced security monitoring, allowing Ads Advisor to continuously track accounts and deliver personalized recommendations. These include flagging dormant users and suspicious domains. A new security insights dashboard and passkey support have also been added to strengthen overall account protection.

Beyond security, the tool now handles certification management by proactively identifying when a business requires a Google certificate. It can either grant access automatically or guide the marketer through the application process in a single click — reducing what previously took weeks of paperwork to an instant approval.

Despite its growing autonomy, Google has confirmed that Ads Advisor will always seek advertiser approval before executing changes, maintaining a full change history so marketers retain complete control over their accounts.
