Julie Chrisley, Nanny Faye’s daughter-in-law, always accompanied her to her bladder cancer treatments, so it’s been tough not to see her.
A report on Nanny Faye Chrisley’s fight against bladder cancer is being nourished.
During an interview on Savannah Chrisley’s Unlocked podcast, the 79-year-old said she is in excellent spirits despite continuing cancer treatments.
“Great, me. You don’t always get a decent hand of cards to play with in life, so you do the best you can. You stand up, groom yourself, and move forward “she claims. “I go to night and get up early. It makes you rich, wise, and healthy.”Savannah gush about how her grandma, who has been receiving chemotherapy, is a “champ.” She joke, “She would get her chemo. The next day she would be dead, and then after that, she’d be in the vehicle going to the casino.”
The 25-year-old Growing Up Chrisley actor continues by stating that it must have been tough for Nanny Faye to be without Todd and Julie Chrisley since the couple was imprisoned for tax fraud.
Savannah said, “If we’re being honest about it, everyone understands that your parents were your primary carers,” Nanny Faye agree that it had been “really hard.”She said, “There wasn’t a single treatment [for her bladder cancer] that my beloved daughter-in-law wasn’t with me. She has been by my side throughout everything.
On his podcast, Chrisley Confessions, in June 2022, Todd, 53, first discussed his mother’s illness.
He revealed that she was initially diagnose in the fall of 2021 and hope to keep her fight private. “My mother was diagnosed with bladder cancer also so she is in treatment. Also we have been dealing with that therapy weekly,” he said.
“At the time, Todd pleaded with the public to show regard for the woman’s age and the fact that she was fighting for her life. I fervently ask God to maintain her on the path of healing daily. Everybody experiences difficulties, and we are no different.
Although the Chrisleys haven’t provided many specifics regarding Nanny Faye’s prognosis, bladder cancer primarily affects older individuals. According to the American Cancer Society, nine out of ten bladder cancer patients are older than 55.
