PP Arnold, the soul singer who appeared as Ikette with Ike & Tina Turner Revenue, opened up about his life in an upcoming memoir and he makes shocking accusations about Ike Turner.

While discussing his upcoming memoir, Soul Survivor, Arnold told The Telegraph that Ike Turner once trapped him in a room and raped him in the mid-1960s. After the alleged sexual assault, Arnold fought his anger at Turner, who died in 2007 at 76.

“What can I say? It wasn’t perfect. I hate Ike to that level, but I don’t know how to express myself,” said Arnold, now 75 years old.

“I was told that Tina wanted to get rid of me because Ike was after me,” Arnold add of Ike’s then-wife, Tina Turner.

“If I run to Tina or call my parents, I must go home.”

According to Arnold, returning home means getting harsh treatment from her husband again. According to her interview with the Telegraph, she and her husband David were force into marriage after an abortion attempt using a sterilized hanger failed. As a result, she give birth to their son Kevin when he was 15. Then, at 17, she gave birth to their daughter, Debbie.

Arnold said she also felt “deep anger” at her husband’s abuse but was “overcoming it.” He also claim that his father would beat him when he grew up.

“Unfortunately, that’s how it was at the time. Arnold told the publication that he eventually left Ikettes after Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger convinced him to continue. She also claims to have been Jagger’s lover, even with his girlfriend and singer Marian Faithfull in the picture.
