In an Instagram post Jessica Simpson on Monday, the star shared a no-makeup, sun-drenched selfie and an ode to her father’s life.
“I just woke up feeling grateful for all the dad characters out there,” Simpson, 41, captioned the post. “Yesterday was a wonderful Father’s Day celebrating my favorites @ericjohnsonalrighhhht @joesimpsonphoto and @ringoindover.”

Simpson’s Father’s Day celebration was film on his Instagram Stories on Sunday. He spent the day at a pool party with his father, which meant the most to him. The Open Book author poses for a photo with father Joe and wife Eric, 42. They share three children: Maxwell “Maxi” Drew, 10, Ace Knut, 8, and Birdie May, 3.
