In recent years, the 28-year-old actress and singer have opened up about her struggle with adult acne. Revealing in December 2020 that the cause is a hormonal condition called PCOS, or Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. “I’ve never tried to define myself by anything, whether it’s my skin or whatever I stand for,” she told news.
“I think when it comes to PCOS, I’m just sharing my journey to learning about myself. And I think, as a young woman, everyone can understand that.
“I share because I think many people think I’m perfect or they think things are easy for me. “I think a lot of times people just put celebrities on this crazy pedestal,” Palmer said. “My honesty comes from wanting her to know, like hey, and I’m going through a lot.
