Key Sentence:
- Kevin Abstract is looking for a new, “up-and-coming” producer to work on Brockhampton’s seventh (and possibly final) studio album, due for release later this year.
Abstract initially announced that the sequel to Roadrunner: New Light, New Machine would mark the end of the Brockhampton project in March. In May, he also commented on the end of the band and wrote: “We all love each other and want to continue making the best music we can. Everyone wakes up a bit and has something to say outside of the group project. “
The rapper has now made an open invitation for the beats in the band’s upcoming recordings. “I tried something different,” he tweeted earlier this week. “You want to give up, and future producers have a chance because we know how difficult it is to get your work done.”
“If you have something you love and want BH to listen to – send me a beat for Brockhampton’s new album.”
In addition to asking for beats, Abstract asked fans which songs they prefer hip Hop bands listen to Freestyle. “Just tell me, and we’ll record the song, make a video and play it one day,” he said. Last month Brockhampton strengthened that their new album would be out “before the end of the year.” In Abstract, more disturbing material for his latest solo album will follow Arizona Baby in 2019.
