The two previously worked together on Lady Gaga “Sine From Above,” featured on pop star Chromatica’s 2020 album. While the song happens to hit drums and bass towards the end, the new version takes her genre exploration one step further.
In a recent interview, the source said that the 74-year-old musician’s collaboration with Gaga on “Sine From Above” “shocked everyone” but added that the upcoming remix would “stun them” and “shock.”
“It went from pop dance song to extreme hardcore drum and bass,” they explain.
Elton John recently joined forces with Dua Lipa to pull off a club-worthy mash-up with PNAU’s electronic trio entitled “Cold Heart.” Meanwhile, in June, he joined the All-Stars cast including Miley Cyrus, Yo-Yo Ma. Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith. And Metallica’s Robert Trujillo for another stylistic makeover that included Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters.”
