Leeane Hainsby is adjusting to life after learning she has breast cancer.

The British Peloton instructor, 35, has updated her Instagram followers on her mental health since revealing her health news in January.

“Cancer is as much a mental game as it is a physical game,” one of my (incredible) cancer nurses told me shortly after I was diagnose. Hainsby, diagnosed in August, shared her diagnosis with her 381,000 followers.

“We had the conversation in such a blurry, terrifying time. And yet it has always remained a crystal clear moment to me,” she went on. “It sparked in me a mindset that has felt like my superpower ever since.”

“The anxiety I felt before posting publicly about my diagnosis was pretty high,” she said. “I knew I was ready to share, and I hoped that by doing so, I could raise awareness and make a difference in some way. But the transition from knowing only my closest friends and family to knowing a lot more people felt daunting.”

“It’s an inside job, it makes such a huge difference to how you approach anything in life. And it’s well worth working on,” she conclud her post, which included a carousel of photos and videos from the immersive multi-sensory experience, which was surround by neon lights and intricate visual designs.

Hainsby revealed her breast cancer diagnosis in a lengthy Instagram post on Jan. 27.

“Two days before my best friend’s funeral, I discovered a lump in my breast,” the British spin instructor explained as she displayed hospital room photos. “That is a sentence I could never have imagined writing.”
