LinkedIn Rolls Out Personalized Year in Review Feature for All Users

LinkedIn has started rolling out its new Year in Review feature to all users worldwide, providing a personalized overview of your platform activity throughout 2025. This engaging summary allows users to access their detailed engagement breakdown by searching “LinkedIn Year in Review” in the app or tapping notifications.

What Your LinkedIn Year in Review Shows

The feature displays comprehensive metrics about your LinkedIn presence, including the number of new connections and followers gained during the year, job changes among your network, post and comment counts, certifications and skills added, and your most active times of day. Users can also discover their key connection and sometimes see a reminder of their first connection when they joined the platform. A notable addition is the character summary, which encapsulates who you are based on your LinkedIn activity patterns.

Available in Multiple Languages

LinkedIn’s Year in Review provides an engaging visual summary of your professional engagement on the platform, making it easy to see your contributions at a glance. The feature is now available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, expanding accessibility for LinkedIn’s global user base. While the summary offers a fun overview of your LinkedIn engagement, some users note it could be enhanced with more practical metrics, such as detailed profile visitor tracking or industry-specific learning course recommendations.

This activation serves as both a motivational tool to encourage users to increase their engagement in the coming year and a celebration of existing on-platform efforts. The Year in Review feature represents LinkedIn’s ongoing effort to gamify user engagement and provide valuable self-insight through personalized analytics.
