Martha Plimpton and Arianna DeBose team up to defend abortion rights

“It is a human problem,” Martha Plimpton told the news, who will host Broadway’s Acts of Abortion charity concert.

Broadway actors have come together to defend abortion rights. And Martha Plimpton and Ariana DeBose are the two artists leading the charge.

Plimpton, 51, co-founder of A is For, an organization dedicated to ending the stigma against abortion. Told the news that the Supreme Court decision earlier this year in Roe v. take Wade “hits near the house”.

He said: “I know how many people have suffered and will suffer.”

The Emmy winner Good Wife was openly pro-abortion long before SCOTUS changed the women’s reproductive rights landscape this summer.

Plimpton will host the upcoming Broadway Acts for Abortion benefit concert, an abortion rights fundraiser, this Sunday in New York City.

Plimpton emphasizes that limiting or banning abortion affects not only women but everyone. “It is a people problem. It is a human problem,” he said, noting that transgender and non-binary people are just as directly affected as many other people.
