“He’ll send me screenshots of every episode if I forget what I’m wearing…and I’ll get a little report,” joked Mayim Bialik when her mom joined Jeopardy! clothes

Mayim Bialik’s mother didn’t hold back Jeopardy! Host of fashion choices.

While emerging on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Thursday, the Blossom graduate admitted that her mother often shares her thoughts on what she wears as a late-night game show host.

When asked if his mother was proud that he was now one of the regular presenters of the long-running competition—Ken Jennings also shared hosting duties—Bialik, 46, joked that his mother had no idea what the show’s concept was for.

Still, he’s happy to share his opinion, says Bialik.

“He sends screenshots of every episode in case I forget what I was wearing in that episode, and I get little reports like, ‘I like this jacket, I’m not that crazy about that top,'” Bialik said. He continued, “He always manages to take screenshots when I’m in the middle of [the weird expression]. I think there’s a full half hour; find a better screenshot.’

Bialik isn’t the only celebrity whose family influences her outfits.

For Kelly Ripa, 51, it was her daughter, her 21-year-old daughter Lola. Speaking to news this week about motherhood, the talk show host reveal Lola isn’t shy about offering style advice.

“Don’t wear that. You look ridiculous,” said Ripa, citing Lola’s open approach. “She strangely said my clothes should be tighter and shorter, which just happen to backfire, and I actually made my skirt longer, flatter, and higher.”

Ripa wasn’t afraid to speak her mind either. In 2019, the family — including Ripa’s husband Mark Consuelos and sons Michael, 25, and Joaquin, 19 — sat down for the Best of PEOPLE issue, where they discussed beauty and style tips.

“What’s the only thing I always tell you?” Ripa asked Lola. When Lola searched for the answer, Ripa said, “Never touch your eyebrows! I always told you to never touch your eyebrows and you never did, and I was absolutely right about that.”
