Meet Tanisi Ghosh: Weaving in stories through design and raising the bar for others.

From Mumbai to New York, this young talent stays close to her values while blending modern-day tech trends in design and pushing boundaries in environmental and experiential design.

It is surreal to learn about all those professionals, especially from the female brigade, who, instead of following the paths already trodden by other established names in their fields, choose to create a unique niche for them by taking unconventional roads. Even more astonishing is how these highly driven and high-performing female professionals let their work speak for themselves, immersing themselves in their chosen niches and paving the way for greater growth and success, even in cluttered market conditions. We couldn’t help but notice the rise of one such incredible talent, Tanisi Ghosh, who has made her mark in the world of experiential and environmental design.

Born and raised in Mumbai, this incredible talent has also created a path of consistent success for her across New York. She has worked with major global brands and done major events, showcasing her dynamism as a designer by creating visually striking environments that have set her distinctive from the rest of the industry. Having worked with top-notch global brands like Google, Michelob Ultra, and New Balance, as well as high-profile events such as the FIFA World Cup and the NBA Draft, Tanisi has carved her unique niche and made her mark.

Tanisi has propelled forward in the world of design in a very short period thanks to her love for storytelling through design. She sticks close to her values and carefully blends in the modern-day tech trends in design. She bridges tradition and innovation to create immersive brand experiences. “It’s all about storytelling,” she says. She believes that experiential design isn’t just about aesthetics but also about storytelling.

She graduated from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (the most prestigious fashion/design college in India), where she won an award for her graduation project in Set Design. Thus far, she has worked with renowned names in Set design, including projects like Disney’s Imagine That: Season 2 and the world’s first reality gaming show, Playground. To take a step further in academics, she studied at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology.

One of the major factors that has helped Tanisi stand unique in the industry is her ability to seamlessly blend her cultural roots with cutting-edge trends in technology and design. Today, she continues to push boundaries as an experiential designer at one of New York’s leading experiential agencies and works with clients such as Google and Michelob Ultra.

Tanisi Ghosh leads the way in the environmental and experiential design industry, showcasing how a beautiful blend of culture, authenticity, and technology can lead to greater innovations in the industry.
