Astounding are all those success stories that were created from the ground up and that went ahead in igniting the fire within others vying to make their mark in their respective industries. The world has witnessed several success stories that were based on personal gains; however, there have been a few exceptional talents who focused on the greater good and made sure to imprint an influential name for themselves through their work that could add more value to others, the environment and societies at large.

We noticed how young, dynamic and passionate wildlife conservationist, photographer, Avian Biologist, and ornithologist Devvratsinh Mori did precisely all of this and still made everything look effortless.

Why Devvratsinh Mori from Wadhwan, Surendranagar is, garnering headlines in recent times, you wonder? Well, this young guy is all about his immense passion and love for birds and wildlife, which is why he has often been found at clicking mesmerizing pictures of different species that have earned him great work nationally as well as internationally, so much so that his captured pictures were also a part of London calendar of the Project Luggar Foundation.

Hence, also becoming a part of the State Board for Wildlife (SBWL) did not surprise us, considering the enormous contribution he has given to the world of wildlife in all these years.

Recent news is abuzz about how he is among the top eight ecologists, conservationists and environmentalists of the State Board for Wildlife, which was recently formed in Gujarat after 15 months.

It is headed by Bhupendrabhai Patel, the honorable CM of Gujarat. It consists of many other eminent members as well, like Dhanraj Nathwani, Group Senior Vice President of Reliance Industries, Surest Bhatt, trustee at Lakhota Nature Club, Jamnagar, Sanjay Kelaiya, Natural Heritage Conservation Society in Junagadh, Chandravijaysinh Rana, former wildlife warden, Jamnagar, and Rohit Shashikant Vyas, former member of SBWL, Vadodara.

It also has three representatives from NGOs, including the director of GEER Foundation, Gandhinagar, member secretary, Gujarat, Ecology Commission (GEC) and representative of Nature Club, Surat and two former forest officials CN Pandey, PCCF and HoFF (Retd.) and RD Kamboj, APCCF (Retd.).

Devvratsinh Mori from Wadhwan is now all excited with this new responsibility on his shoulders and looks forward to contributing more to the world of wildlife with his consistent efforts.
