Mel C and Geri Halliwell Horner celebrate England’s win over Germany on Sunday at the 2022 UEFA European Women’s Championship.

Melanie’ Mel C’ Chisholm reunited with her Spice Girls co-star Geri Halliwell Horner on Sunday to watch the 2022 UEFA Women’s European Championship final at Wembley Stadium between England and Germany.
After the football game, Chisholm (aka Sporty Spice) posted a series of photos and videos to Instagram of himself and Halliwell Horner (aka Ginger Spice) cheering England on from the stands. He also shared a picture of the couple posing together after England’s win over Germany.
“Heroes @Lionesse, all but one! It’s amazing to see a group of young women come together, support each other, change people’s perceptions, and touch entire nations’ hearts, ” Chisholm, 48, in the post’s caption. “You [sic] inspire a generation of young women to put on their boots and wear the boys. -boys!” She continued, “So great to see this iconic moment with my Spice Girl @therealgerihalliwell; we are even more proud. #eurochamps #girlpower #footballcomehome #thegirlssortedit.”
On Monday, Chisholm posted a sweet photo to her Instagram Story of her sitting in the stands next to Halliwell Horner, 49, and wrote, “Who else was talking about last night’s game?!” Halliwell Horner has a few on his Instagram page, too. Share photos from the game. On one occasion, he celebrated England’s victory with a smiling portrait of himself and his bandmates.
“Yeah, congrats! @lioness! So proud of you,” he commented on the photo of the team’s 2-1 win over Germany in the final.
Earlier in the day, she posted a couple’s selfies and wrote: “Exactly! @lion!”
