Retaliation for the late R9?
She had a bad day and then mistakenly pushed Rihanna out of your bar because you didn’t recognize the singer and founder of Fenty Beauty. However, in a video that exploded this week, what appears to be a guest refusing to allow Ree to meet A$AP Rocky overnight due to a dispute over his ID card (or lack thereof).
Initially, the misunderstanding was raised on Twitter by @lgforkman, who shared a shocking tweet from the scene, writing, “I just saw a killer trying to not let Rihanna into the bar because she doesn’t have ID lmaoooo.”
A video soon followed showing Rihanna smiling — in a pink furry hat and a retro Dior gown in the shape of Pamela Anderson, no less — as Rocky tried to think against the guard. Meanwhile, in published paparazzi footage, someone at the bar can be heard shouting, “I don’t know who you are,” while someone else asks if he has a business card.
Not surprisingly, the internet has a lot to say about interactions and a lot of questions. For example, how can any sane person fail to recognize Rihanna? And doesn’t the lightning strike from the photographer’s camera serves as a clue? But, of course, the guard just had to do his job, and they finally made it in, as shown in the footage below, where they played video games together.
However, fans have suggested that the fighter make a costly mistake (others suggest this is just retaliation for the R9’s ongoing lag). A$AP Rocky talked about his relationship with Rihanna in a recent interview with GQ, calling her “the love of my life” and “The Only One.”
