Samuel Made A Statement Later The Police Dismissed Attacks Upon The CEO Of Brave Entertainment.

Samuel

Samuel made the official statement in response to the police’s decision to drop the charges against Brave Entertainment founder and CEO Brave Brothers.

In 2019, Samuel – then under contract with Brave Entertainment – announced his decision to rise as an independent artist. The agency replied that Samuel’s decision was unilateral and they intend to take legal action. However, Samuel’s mother and lawyer have revealed that the singer has filed a lawsuit against Brave Entertainment after unsuccessfully trying to terminate his contract with the agency, explaining the specific issues that led to the breach of trust.

In addition to filing for contract termination, Samuel filed separate criminal charges accusing the Brave Brothers of fraud, embezzlement, and forgery. It was revealed this week that police finally acquitted the Brave Brothers of all charges on June 25 after pleading not guilty during their investigation. On June 30, Samuel made the following statement:

Hello, this is Kim Samuel.

I make an official statement regarding the police’s decision not to sue Brave Entertainment for fraud, embezzlement, and forgery, which was announced on the news on June 29.

I find it unfortunate that although I am working with the police to provide evidence of the above allegations and request an investigation, the findings have been described above.

The police’s decision not to submit this case to the prosecutor’s office does not mean the end of this incident [to me]. I plan to appeal this decision as soon as possible and ask the prosecutor to investigate the case carefully to see if the investigation is complete. Defects and if the issue has been thoroughly investigated.

I also intend to request a re-investigation as I have sufficient evidence that the decision not to prosecute this was wrong. I am filing this criminal complaint because I discovered that the agency was trying to hide [specific facts] from the artist and conceal the truth while rubbing my current lawsuit to terminate my exclusive contract. Therefore, in order to [find out and confirm] these facts, I have filed criminal charges.

With nothing but a desire to start my career as a singer as soon as possible, I am silent, and to resolve this dispute smoothly, I never speak in public.

However, Brave Entertainment asked me, who was a minor, to pay compensation of one billion [approx. $885,214] – a figure not supported by evidence – and publicly stated that although they did nothing wrong with malicious intent, he mistook the public for a fake and damaged my image.
