Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler has left rehab.

In May, the band announced that Tyler had checked into a treatment facility following a relapse after 10 years of sobriety. He has completed rehab, an Aerosmith representative confirmed to PEOPLE on Saturday.

“He’s doing really well also looks forward to getting back on stage,” the spokesperson said. The musician reportedly left the facility last 7 days, performing more than the required 30 days, TMZ reports.

Steven Tyler , 74, retreated less than a month before Aerosmith resumed his Las Vegas residency.

The rockers said in a news that Tyler had volunteered to join the treatment program to “focus on his health and recovery.” They shared the statement that Tyler relapsed after foot surgery to prepare the stage and the necessary pain management that accompanies the procedure. The band has canceled dates in June and July and plans to resume performances in September.

“We are devastated by the inconvenience that many of you have experienced, especially our loyal fans who frequently travel long distances to enjoy our shows,” Aerosmith said at the time.

Tyler talks about his journey to sobriety; from Aerosmith’s early days to his failed rehab stint in the 1980s.

“she don’t think any band knows what hangover is,” Tyler told GQ in 2019. “I can’t do enough. I can’t get high enough.
