Her life took a major turn when she met her Guru in Mumbai Late Ravindra Jain. She learnt immensely about music with her guruji. She even worked with her did shows and sang songs in films. The legacy of Ravindra Jain is carried forward by her wife Divya Ravindra Jain. She runs a YouTube channel named – Ravindra Jain, in which the R J event is a group where every year big shows are conducted with mega personalities of the music industry, where the scripting, anchoring and singing are done by Poonamji. Along with this she also has her own YouTube channel named – Poonam Raj and a band Musical Aura with seven different concepts called Saptak that focuses on social development with entertainment. The mind and soul behind the show are Poonamji. The team of more than 100 people worked together and conducted different social shows. Her shows are always a huge hit.
