Gigi Hadid, one of the biggest names in fashion and worldwide, turns 27 today.
For nearly a decade of her career, Hadid has modeled for campaigns and followed in the footsteps of Chanel. Versace, Moschino, Balmain, Jacquemus, Off-White, Tommy Hilfiger, Max Mara, and Marc Jacobs, among others.
Among his more memorable red carpet visions was meeting his younger sister. Bella Hadid, at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards, where they wore a neutral and strict concept. Gigi Hadid sported an outfit by Tom Ford, while Bella Hadid chose one for Charlotte Knowles.
Hadid’s other notable ensembles are her Met Gala outfit dressed as Tommy Hilfiger. Versace, Michael Kors, Prada, and Diane von Furstenberg. Hadid rose to prominence early in her career when she appeared in The Real Wives of Beverly Hills as the eldest of three Yolanda Hadid siblings.
However, Hadid first started her modeling career as a child. Posing for Baby Guess when she was two years old after being spotted by Guess’ Paul Marciano. She quit shortly after that to focus on school before resuming her modeling career in 2011.
Viewers saw her return to modeling during her episodic roles on Bravo’s reality series alongside her mother, her sisters Bella Hadid and Anwar Hadid. And occasionally with her then-stepfather David Foster and biological father, Mohammed Hadid.
In 2013, Gigi Hadid signed with IMG Models and debuted at New York Fashion Week with Desigual in February 2014. That same month she made her big break in haute couture when she was on the cover of Karin Roitfeld’s CR Fashion Book.
