TikTok has announced a new music partnership with Madonna to support the launch of her upcoming album, “Confessions II.” The campaign spans several live activations in the app in the lead-up to the record’s release on July 3, and is being described as a multi-part global celebration of the pop icon’s new music.
A Star-Studded Live Premiere
The centerpiece of the campaign is a live broadcast on July 2 from Madonna’s album release party in London. Streaming on both TikTok LIVE and iHeartRadio, the hour-long special will pair Madonna with drag performer Bob The Drag Queen for a conversation touching on her creative process and the stories behind the new songs. Viewers will be able to interact through live polls, custom icons, and fan Q&A segments woven into the broadcast. iHeartRadio is also inviting listeners to submit their own “confessions” ahead of the show, with the special airing across more than 200 of its radio stations nationwide.
Pop-Ups and an In-App Hub
Beyond the livestream, TikTok is hosting pop-up experiences in New York and London built around the album’s visual identity, offering fans limited-edition merchandise, including a special vinyl variant, along with content creation opportunities themed to the release. The platform is also rolling out a dedicated in-app hub for Confessions II, giving users interactive tasks, rewards, and profile frames tied to the album.
The partnership reflects TikTok’s growing role as a hub for music discovery, and the platform notes that Madonna already commands a devoted following of more than 5 million users on the app. With anticipation building ahead of the album’s release, TikTok is positioning itself at the center of the conversation around one of pop’s most enduring stars.
