Yet, like a moth magnetized on a heart-shaped candle, we keep returning to love, even though it often burns us.

“In terms of flirty ‘jokes’ and comments about my appearance, I’d say it happened about eight and ten times, if not more,” she admits. “It didn’t surprise me. But, unfortunately, it came with the territory of being a woman.
The invitation to Barbados (from a patient) surprised me, but in a funny way.”
One time he went too far. “This man is just a suitor,” said Julia. So he came in and showed himself off and tried to say, “Oh, are you going to inject poison into me? When I gave him the injection, he screamed in pain and then said, “Oh, this is just a joke, baby, open it! I’m sure you’re pulling under the mask. Do you want to drink? You owed me a drink after he stabbed me in the arm. Julia soon learns that the best way to silence her is to drop the bomb her husband has placed next door.

Heartbeats will be excited; they’ll be a little nervous – all those things you get when you’re in love. The body becomes flooded with chemicals, which can confuse people.”
