The 58-year-old TV personality returns home after checking into the spa in August.
Wendy Williams is officially back home after stepping into the spa at the end of the summer.
The 58-year-old TV personality is reportedly being treated and recovering after sharing that he is focused on his health.
“We are pleased to announce that Wendy Williams is home and recovering. After being in a health centre since August,” her publicist Sean Zanotti told the news in a statement. “Wendy is excited about the journey ahead and looks forward to sharing many of her projects.”
“Thank you to my fans for their love, support and many prayers,” Williams added. “I’m back and better than ever.”
Williams’ break was first announced last month in a statement in which she said she was taking steps to get her health back on track.
“She is taking time off to focus on her health and well-being as she prepares for a major comeback to take her career to the next level with the Wendy Experience Podcast,” the announcement said. “A team treats Miss Williams of some of the best doctors in the world. We ask for your prayers and best wishes during this time.” Other stars. Including Michael Rapaport, Whitney Cummings and Jerry Springer, were tapped to do the same.
Sherri Shepherd has proven to be a fan favourite among restaurateurs, even posting her best season ranking during her first stint last November. It was then announced that the 54-year-old actress had been given a self-titled talk show, Sherri. Which would take over the Williams program’s time slot. It ended Williams’ own show after more than a decade on the air.
“He understands why this decision was made from a business point of view,” Howard Bragman, a spokesman for Williams, said in a statement in February. “He was reassured by Debmar-Mercury that if his health reached a point where he could host again. And if he wanted to host again, he would be back on television by then.”
At the time, he had tested positive for a breakthrough case of COVID-19 amid other ongoing health complications related to his Graves’ disease.
