X has introduced unified subscription packages that combine its social platform perks with a suite of artificial intelligence tools, giving users a single plan for both. The move brings X Premium features together with access to Grok, Cursor and the company’s work-focused assistant, @Bot, under one subscription.
Five Tiers, From Free to $200 a Month
X is offering five versions of the integrated plan. The entry level is free and includes limited chat and agent requests, while the top-tier Ultra package costs $200 per month and provides significantly expanded AI access. X says every new plan delivers more usage per dollar than the comparable plans it replaces, which should mean greater capacity for AI requests alongside direct access to X Premium features.
According to X, the bundles let people code with AI in Cursor, get work done with @Bot, and chat and create with Grok, all while keeping the full X Premium feature set. Access to the AI services varies by tier, so heavier users can move up to plans with higher limits.
A New Name Behind the Scenes
The references to xSI reflect an updated brand for xAI, introduced after U.S. President Donald Trump declared that artificial intelligence should now be called “super intelligence.” As a result, SpaceXAI, the name for the combined SpaceX, xAI and X business, has become SpaceXSI. The company acquired the AI code-building app Cursor in August, which explains its place in the new bundle.
The packages will roll out gradually by region, starting in the United States. Existing subscribers can stay on their current plans or switch to the new offering, linking their Grok, Cursor and X accounts. For users, the change could simplify what has been a growing patchwork of separate subscriptions and AI services.
