On Thursday, Caroline Jones announce she would join the Grammy-winning band she often works with full-time, making her the first and only female.

In addition, the singer will join the group for touring, performing and in the studio and pursuing a solo career.

“Becoming an official member of the Zac Brown Band is the greatest honour of my career to date,” Jones, 32, told Entertainment Tonight. “Being recognized not only as a singer also songwriter but also as a musician and a family member means more to me than words can express.”

Zac Brown added, according to the outlet, “I feel like Caroline has been part of the Zac Brown Band for years. She’s done several tours with us also has also been in the during studio creating with us. She’s family and a badass musician,” he said. . “He sings the loudest and works the hardest.”

“So Many Skies” – Jones wrote for her husband while they were in love – was co-produce by the Zac Brown Band.

Jones opened the band on their 2017 tour and was invite back for the following two consecutive tours. Then in 2021, the band asked him to be part of the Comeback Tour as a particular guest band member – and did the same for their current Out in the Middle tour.

Earlier this month, Zac Brown Brand pulled out of a concert in Vancouver when some of their members were denied entry to Canada at the border. In a statement share with news, the band said they were forced to cancel several hours earlier than their original schedule.

“We’re sorry to tell you that we won’t be able to perform in Vancouver tonight. Our fans in Canada are amazing, and we couldn’t be happier than to spend a night of music together,” they said.

They explained: “Several team members have allegations from over a decade ago that have been cleared. Our team has played regularly in Canada for ten years, including two shows alone this year.”
