Cate Blanchett Wears Armani Privé Gown for the Third Time Since 2014
At the 2023 SAG Awards, the Tár actress repurposed another award show gown. Cate Blanchett is making a statement.
The Tár star (who was nominate for her leading role in Tár) opt to repurpose a gown from Cate Blanchett archives at the SAG Awards 2023. This time donning the “third iteration” of a black lace Giorgio Armani Privé number she wore to the 2014 Golden Globes and the 2018 Cannes Film Festival.
The exquisitely detail gown was originally create of sheer fabric also delicate lace, with a high neck and cap sleeves; the most recent version incorporated the lace into a black sequin bodice, fitted skirt, also sleeves cut along the lace pattern.
