Flavor Flav celebrates two years of sobriety: ‘I’m so proud of myself.’

Flavor Flav celebrates a significant milestone in its sobriety.
On Wednesday, the 63-year-old rapper – born William Drayton Jr. – announced on social media that he had been sober for two years.
“Today is October 19th. Guess what? I’ve been smoke-free for two years and alcohol-free for two. And you know what? I feel so good, everyone, just to let you guys know,” he said in an Instagram video. “I might be doing this for another 22 years; I don’t know. But now I work one year in a company. time, people.”
“And I don’t care what people say, but I look good,” he added. “Still awake, honey!”
Flav also posted a photo of his sobriety tracking app, writing in the caption, “Two years of sobriety. I’m so proud of myself that I just had to tell everyone. Proud of me.” Many of the rapper’s co-stars and fans praised his calmness under the post, including rapper Warren G, who commented, “Keep going, happy homeboy.”
“I’m so proud of you. Keep up what you do every year,” wrote one fan, while another added, “And I look younger proud of you, Flav.”
Last year, musician Public Enemy took to Twitter to celebrate a milestone on his journey to sobriety.
“One more year,,, many more,,, next year I pray my whole family will follow the same path as me,” he tweeted, along with photos from the tracking and tagging app before and after and the year before.
