Hunter Woodhall and Tara Davis Married in Fairy Tale Ceremony
Hunter Woodhall Three-time Paralympic medalists and the US Olympic team tied the knot on October 16 at the D’Vine Grace Winery in McKinney, Texas.
Hunter Woodhall and Tara Davis are getting married!
Three-time Paralympic and Olympic medalist Team USA, both 23. Took their vows on October 16 in front of 214 friends and family at the D’Vine Grace Vineyard in McKinney, Texas.
“It was like a dream,” Davis told NEWS. “Ever since we started dating, Hunter and I have been discussing marriage. We’ve seen each other for the rest of our lives and it’s so real. We’ve accomplished so much together and this is the biggest one. !”
The couple engaged in September 2021 while on a romantic getaway in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
After seven bridesmaids and groomsmen — and their two dogs, Milo and Winnie. Who served as ring bearers — Davis’ father ushered them down the aisle. Woodhall’s teammate Trenten Merrill officiated the ceremony, and the bride and groom exchanged traditional vows.
Immediately after the “I dos,” guests are usher into the courtyard for cocktail hour. Where there’s an open bar and where they pass through hors d’oeuvres, including mini chicken tacos, smoked salmon and goat cheese bites, and bacon-wrapped jalapenos. Plus two signature cocktails named after their dog! Milo the Mule (Moscow Mule) and Winnie Rita (Strawberry Margarita).
Dinner is help family-style at a long table and consists of a strawberry and spinach salad. Chicken scallops, grilled tenderloin, maca cheese, green beans, mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts.
After dinner, the guests danced under the lights in the courtyard until the night was over. When Woodhall and Davis walked out on foot past the fireworks before driving in their butterfly door Tesla.
“It’s like a true fairy tale,” Davis said. “The end of our fairy tale.”
