Michelle Branch also husband Patrick Carney have started therapy: ‘It helped us.’
“Michelle Branch roll up our sleeves and get work done, which never sounds like fun, but we do,” singer-songwriter Tamron Hall said on Thursday’s episode of his talk show.
A few weeks after their relationship split, Michelle Branch said she and Patrick Carney were moving forward through therapy.
“My husband and I recently started therapy, and I wish we had started six months ago. I wish we had sought help and spoken to someone sooner. It has made a huge difference in such a short time. If someone is watching, that’s your cue. If you’ve thought about it, talk to someone,” singer-songwriter Tamron Hall, 39, said on Thursday’s episode of his talk show.
“This helps us. Tonight… what happened is very unfortunate. It was the bed night of my life. Also, bringing it out into the world because I’m in the process of releasing a record is a lot, but all I can do is be honest about what I’m going through and what’s going on. I’m not the first to experience this.”
In August, Branch also deleted a tweet accusing 42-year-old Carney of cheating while touring with The Black Keys.
Shortly after that, Branch is arrested on assault charges and is dismissed for allegedly punching Carney in the face.
On Tuesday, Branch and Carney filed for a six-month delay in divorce proceedings to work on their marriage. According to court documents from Tennessee, news is available. When Hall, 51, asked about the night in question, Branch was honest and apologetic. “This is not an accusation! Violence… I don’t condone violence. I hit my husband. It’s not the best moment of my life,” she admits.
