Mira Rajput Opens Up About Early Marriage Struggles with Shahid Kapoor

Mira Rajput has candidly revealed the emotional challenges she faced during her early marriage years with Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor. Speaking on the podcast “Moment of Silence,” the 30-year-old opened up about feeling isolated and struggling to maintain connections with friends who were in different life phases.

The Age Gap Challenge

Married at just 21 to Shahid’s 34, Mira found herself navigating married life while her peers pursued higher education, traveled, or took gap years. “I couldn’t speak to them the way I used to,” she admitted, describing how the significant life transition created distance from her social circle.

Finding Balance Over Time

Initially, friends didn’t understand her limited communication after marriage and starting a family with daughter Misha in 2016 and son Zain in 2018. However, Mira noted that as her friends entered similar life phases, their bonds strengthened and understanding grew. The couple, who married in July 2015, continues to navigate their journey together while Shahid pursues his film career, including his upcoming December release with director Vishal Bhardwaj.
