Vanderpump Rules’ Raquel Leviss says Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz want actors
Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz confirmed their Split in March after 12 years together
Raquel Lewis believes Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz wanted their Vanderpump Rule partner to come after the couple split in March.
The 27-year-old reality star revealed to Six the repercussions of the couple’s breakup, telling the publication: “I have felt with Tom and Katie. But, unfortunately, they expect [people] to vote for the country.”
“That [changes the dynamic],” he continued. “It seems anyway – even though I’m friends with both of them.”
Lewis wouldn’t say whether Schwartz, 39, or Maloney, 35, put more pressure on the players to choose a country but said, “I don’t understand that sentiment, but Sheana [Shay] does, so I have to ask.” Lisa Vanderpam, who officiated the couple’s wedding ceremony in August 2016, also spoke to the publication about their Split.
“There were some difficult moments,” he said. “What’s so special about this cast is that they are very emotionally open. Maybe because they grew up with cameras, you know? Ten years have passed. They are reticent to share their life. I think he did it for exciting television. It’s a people journey, and it’s a people journey.
Vanderkam, 61, said it was “much better” seeing Maloney and Schwartz stay together, adding: “But who knows? Maybe Fat Lady hasn’t been singing. Maloney and Schwartz announced their divorce on their Instagram account in March.
“After 12 years of adventure together, Tom also I ended our marriage,” he said. “This region will face neither hatred nor hostility; there is no country to choose from. We have a deep admiration for each other that will always be, and we value our friendship.”
“When though we are on different paths, we will continue to love and support each other’s happiness. Thank you for all your kind words also support,” Maloney concluded, accompanied by a carousel of photos of the couple.
