LeBron James, 37, shared his son’s story on Instagram, adding, “YEEEEEE!!! WITH MAXIMUS @_JUSBRYCE.”

The James family has close ties to the University of Duquesne. The team’s head coach, Keith Dambrot, previously coached LeBron while still a student at St. Vincent-St. Mary’s High School in Akron, Ohio. According to Sports Illustrated, Drew Joyce III, the team’s assistant coach, played with LeBron in high school.

Bryce, a sophomore, is expected to play on Sierra Canyon School’s JV team this year, while his older brother Bronny a four-star nominee in the Class of 2023, is on the school’s collegiate team to compete, reports CBS Sports. That summer, the brothers played for the California Basketball Club while competing overseas against teams from London, Paris, and Rome, according to CBS Sports.

Earlier this month, LeBron shared his joy at seeing his sons play together on social media, writing, “Wow, really first time seeing Brony and Bryce on the pitch in a game situation together!! That’s crazy!! I’m AF EMOTIONAL!! WOW.” The four-time NBA champion also posted a video on Instagram of him playing basketball with his sons at the Los Angeles Lakers facility.

“There’s no better feeling than doing what I love with the people I love!” wrote LeBron. “Good job today #JamesGang #EarnedNotGiven to Young.”
