X Launches Premium Business Tiers With Handle Marketplace
X has unveiled a major rebrand of its business subscription service, transforming “Verified Organizations” into “Premium Business” while introducing tiered pricing options to attract more brands to its platform.
The social media company now offers three subscription levels: Premium Business Basic at $200 per month, Premium Business Full Access at $1,000 monthly, and a custom Enterprise tier. Previously, businesses could only access verification at the $1,000 price point, making the Basic tier a more accessible entry option for smaller organizations.
Enhanced Features and Gold Verification
Premium Business subscribers gain access to a gold checkmark—the platform’s premium trust symbol—along with affiliate badges, advanced impersonation protection, and priority VIP support. The package includes SuperGrok for enhanced productivity, real-time brand monitoring tools, and recruitment features for talent acquisition.
According to X, Premium Business represents “the ultimate solution to drive growth” on the platform, offering instant credibility and expanded brand presence capabilities.
New Handle Marketplace Launches
Alongside the rebrand, X introduced a marketplace where businesses can bid on desirable usernames. The platform plans to make dormant handles available for purchase, with previous reports suggesting prices could reach up to $50,000 for premium names.
However, X’s declining usage rates raise questions about the investment’s value. While the company promotes additional ad credits for new business subscribers, brands must weigh these benefits against the platform’s shrinking user base and reduced influence.
For businesses whose target audiences remain active on X, the new tiered pricing structure offers flexible options to enhance their platform presence and credibility.
