Meta Launches Free AI Chatbots for Business Websites

Meta has announced a suite of new advertising tools ahead of the holiday season, with the centerpiece being Business AI—a free, customizable chatbot that businesses can integrate directly into their websites. The AI-powered tool requires no coding experience and is designed to guide customers from product discovery to purchase.

The Business AI chatbot learns from multiple sources including a company’s website, product catalog, social media posts, and ad campaigns. This multi-source training ensures brand consistency and enables the bot to deliver personalized responses to customer inquiries. All conversations are stored in Meta Business Suite’s inbox, allowing businesses to review interactions and refine their approach.

Businesses can also deploy these chatbots within Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns. When users view ads, they can tap query buttons that connect them directly to the chatbot on the brand’s website, creating a seamless customer experience across platforms.

Enhanced Ad Tools and Creator Partnerships

Beyond chatbots, Meta is introducing an AI Business Assistant within Ads Manager to help marketers optimize campaign performance and resolve account issues. The company is also testing virtual try-on features for clothing, AI-generated ad music, video dubbing capabilities, and persona-based image generation for targeted advertising.

Meta is expanding creator collaboration opportunities through Partnership Ads Hub recommendations and AI-suggested collaborations, making it easier for brands to identify and work with relevant creators. Product links in Instagram Reels are also being expanded, offering new monetization pathways.

The Business AI chatbot will initially launch for U.S. companies, with Meta positioning these tools as essential resources for the competitive holiday shopping season.
