Jessica Simpson jokes she’s “running the budget” after her credit card was “rejected” at Taco Bell
“I don’t have a working credit card,” Jessica Simpson joked to The Real when she said she was focusing her finances on her growing clothing line.
Jessica Simpson had beef with Taco Bell.
The 41-year-old singer joked that his credit card was turned down at the popular fast-food chain as he focused his finances on his growing business until it appeared on The Real this week.
“I don’t have a working credit card,” Simpson said. “Is fine. I paid in cash. I went to Taco Bell the other day, and my card was declined. My budget is tight, ladies!” She added that she “exploded my bank account” to fund her $1 billion fashion brand, which she and her mother, Tina Simpson, took control of in October. So many dashes are even considering taking out a home loan to run a big deal.
“There’s so much anxiety with money,” Simpson told The Real.
“I’m the one to piss you off at the blackjack table. I’d put it all in there if I were the one running the show because I believe in myself, and I know what I can do. And I know nothing’s going to stop me. Since then, Simpson has announced plans to expand her Jessica Simpson collection into health and fitness and menswear; earlier this week, she is “always bringing something new to market” in her store.
“We switched to boys’ and girls’ clothing, which I’ve always wanted to do because I know what a guy’s bottom looks like in jeans,” she said, adding, “My husband is a good model for it, but he would never do it. So maybe I can convince him.”
The Open Book author also admires that he controls his own company. “can be myself. “I don’t answer to anyone,” Simpson said. “I work with my mom, so she’s still like my boss even though I’m the boss,” she said. “But we have a very healthy working relationship in terms of that.
“We listen and respect each other’s opinions. We don’t have to answer anyone; it’s wild. I can put my name on things, and you can know and believe it’s mine, and I believe, And you will get it [from me] for the rest of my life,” Simpson added.
