Nick Jonas as Dad: ‘Thanks for Malti Marie and the prospect of parenthood’

Nick Jonas as Dad and Priyanka Chopra became parents via surrogate in January this year. But they were unable to bring home their Maltese daughter, Marie Chopra Jonas, as she was in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) for more than 100 days. American singer Nick Jonas has announced that he is the father of his daughters Marie Chopra Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Maltese.

In an interview with Variety, the artist talked about being a first-time parent and the perspective that brings so much joy and responsibility.

Nick Jonas as Dad said: “The weight of things is so intense. I think it’s about being there and considering it may be about your family and the journey of other people. I am so grateful for [Malti Marie] and the great prospect of being old.” Recently, Nick opened up on The Kelly Clarkson Show about trying to be with his growing family: “It’s been so wild. He (Malti Jonas) has a bit of a heart there. He’s the best. This is a magical time in our lives. It’s a blessing to have his home.”
