Meta Widens Access to Its AI Creator Studio App

Meta has broadened availability of its AI-driven Creator Studio app, giving more Facebook creators access to a dedicated space for managing content and tracking audience performance. The tool, first announced in June and initially tested with a small group of creators, is now open to any creator using iOS in the United States and Canada.

Built to Cut Out Distractions

According to Meta, the app was designed to solve a common complaint: creators found it hard to focus on content strategy while using the main Facebook app, where features like Reels, the main Feed, and direct messages competed for attention. Creator Studio instead offers a separate, creator-focused workspace meant to keep growth-related tasks front and center. Early testers reportedly welcomed this shift, along with the app’s AI-generated recommendations, which suggest new content ideas, highlight what’s already working, and benchmark performance against similar creators.

Early Results and Lingering Questions

The app also includes AI-assisted comment replies, which surface comments worth engaging with and draft responses that creators can review before posting. Meta says this feature is intended to boost engagement without compromising authenticity, though some observers note that automated replies risk feeling manufactured rather than genuine. Even so, Meta’s early data points to strong results: one tester gained 4,000 followers from a single AI-assisted video, another reported a 144% jump in earnings within a week, and testers overall saw increased engagement tied to faster comment responses.

With the wider rollout now underway, more creators will soon get a chance to test whether Creator Studio’s AI tools can meaningfully streamline growth on Facebook — or whether the automation trade-offs raise concerns of their own.
