Meghan Markle reassured us that we needed special shorts for the summer

Meghan Markle’s summer style is spectacular, especially when trying to look trendy and stay calm.
Earlier this week, Meghan Markle the Duke also Duchess of Sussex were in New York to deliver a unique address to the United Nations in honor of Nelson Mandela Day. After the event, Meghan had lunch with her friend and political activist Gloria Steinem at the Crosby Hotel in Soho.
For outings, Meghan Markle swapped out her black dress for something more casual and relaxed. Meghan wear a white button-down blouse tucked into long shorts and complemented by a cognac belt to match her pointed shoes and beaded clutch. Shorts usually get a bad reputation for being too casual to wear to the office or other formal events, but Meghan’s Bermuda style is perfect for any occasion. Hers has a chic silhouette that makes her tall enough to wear to the office. They are also looser on the feet, which is a good choice, especially during low temperatures.

They’re not only perfect for work but also super cute to wear to a fun lunch with friends (as Meghan pointed out), summer parties, or sporting events. This isn’t the first time Meghan has opted for longer shorts. In May, she wore a white pair with a black and white polka dot blouse to one of Prince Harry’s polo matches.
